Rose hips, either from your front yard rosebush, or from a wild rosebush, are a great immune boosting herbal ally! They are also a valuable wild edible. Rose hips are very high in Vitamin C, and are great in teas or in Elderberry syrup when you feel a cold coming on.
Gather these now, after a couple frosts, to dry and keep handy for the next year. Pull out some rose hips whenever you feel a cold or flu coming on, or for using as a preventative for when you have a bunch of people around you that are getting sick!
